Notice of Nomination for the National Competition: Hotchip Technology’s 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition New Generation Information Technology National Competition
On the morning of November 15, 2023, the opening ceremony of the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition National New Generation Information Technology Competition and the New Generation Information Technology Industry Development Summit Forum were held in the High tech Zone (Binjiang). Leaders Xu Yi, Chen Wei, and Wang Chunyang from relevant directly affiliated institutions of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Lu Wenge and Lv Pinyi from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Deng Zheng and Chen Xiyang from the Hangzhou Science and Technology Bureau, Zheng Di, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee, Director of the Management Committee, and District Chief, and Wang Lisheng, District Leader, attended the opening ceremony.
Since its launch, the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has received positive responses from a large number of innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises, with over 37000 participating companies. After competition from 37 local competition areas across the country and recommendations from provincial science and technology management departments, 1494 enterprises have been shortlisted for the national competition. The national competition revolves around seven strategic emerging industries, including new generation information technology, biomedicine, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energy, new energy vehicles, and energy conservation and environmental protection. About 600 outstanding enterprises will be selected for the competition, and companies will be shortlisted for the national finals.
Among them, 22 companies from Guangdong were shortlisted, and Hotchip Technology Co., Ltd. from Shenzhen went from district to city and then to provincial competitions, ultimately qualifying for the national competition to compete with top companies from all over the world.
The fourth competition of the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition will focus on innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of new generation information technology. The aim is to gather outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship talents from across the country, increase financial support for technology innovation enterprises, promote key technological innovation in the digital information industry, facilitate the integrated development of large, medium, and small enterprises, and promote the construction of a strong manufacturing country, a strong network country, and a digital China through high-level technological innovation and entrepreneurship. Entering a new stage, we should adhere to the importance of self-reliance in science and technology as an important task in promoting Chinese path to modernization, further strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in scientific and technological innovation, strengthen the docking of various innovative resources, recommend key core technology to tackle key problems, promote the new generation of information technology to enable the industry, lead the comprehensive development of equipment manufacturing, medical health and other industries, and provide a strong driving force for high-quality development.
